I'm nothing but an empty shell without the Holy Spirit who dwells within me. When I think of who I am, I cannot imagine myself alive without the Holy Spirit within me. It's as if I turn to dust in my mind. The Holy Spirit is my life sustaining essence. He keeps me grateful, fearless, focused, resilient, and calm. He is my anchor in the storm, and my source for knowledge and understanding. He is my reason for waking each day and my hope for the next.
He is a part of me in such a way that I would cease to exist without Him. He fills me with wonder and joy in my walks through the forest, gazing at the sunrise and sunset, contemplating the vastness of the ocean and the starlit night sky, or the simplicity and beauty of a humble clover flower. He calls me to be aware and to notice all these things which God, my father, has created.
I humbly pray that my life, of whatever duration and in all that I do, be overflowing with you.
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?" — 1 Corinthians 6:19
